Sound and Final cut

Image
This ids My Final Cut I ended up doing the final sound editing and putting the Animation up in the Raw Gallery at 5:30 as i spent most of the Day setting up the T.V. and dealing with unexpected issues with  peoples requests and need for T.V.s I have learnt that for south shore i will definitely want to be working with more reliable people.  here is my Final Cut not exactly what i wanted with the sound but the dialogue is there.

Animation finished animating

I have finished Animating the first story with 3 days to exhibition. taking into account the fact that i need to still input the sound and sync it correctly and do some final editing in Adobe After effects. I have dropped m the idea of finishing the second animation even with sound and dialogue record for all three.  the Full scripts are in my Journal.

Continuing my Animation I kept working on animating the characters at this point i have fully animated the characters  and timed out there movements to match the dialogue. I decided with a week to the exhibition i will attempt to start a second one of my stories. this is the first rough of the start of the animations backdrop.

Animation Proccess

I began animating today  The first issue i ran into was being able to get the character behind the table and have there arm in front of it at the same time. My Solution to this issue came from something i saw in Rodger rabbit  certain items in the film like a rubbish bin that Rodger digs in where still frames that the animators cut the bin out and pasted a copy over to create a 3 dimensional layer for Rodger to act in.  I Used this idea and took the still image of the bar and cut out the table then place it between the layers of my characters hands and their bodies so the body is behind and the hand is in front giving the illusion of the hands resting on the table.

Just a few reference materials

Over the last few Nights i have been watching live action films to get ideas of thing to incorporate into my live action i decided to watch some old classics in Who framed Roger Rabbit and cool World.

Charater creation

Spent the This past Week Creating the Characters and rigging there Puppets. The Process of creating the character doesn't take long ony about 4 hours but rigging then and making sure they can move and bend the way i want is a bit more technical  this required me to constantly use reference materials of anatomy of not only human but frogs as well as there limbs have strange muscle joint closer to the flexibility of 2D characters here are some screen shots.

Project starts

Today i worked on starting the development process of my characters. Since i want my characters to be both a blank slate that can easily be placed in a variety of situation. Much like Peter Griffin from  Seth Macfarlane's  show Family Guy. as well as being relateable to a New Zealand audience. I decided to look at some very basic New Zealand  Stereotypes.  I found stereotypes form a variety of sources.   Some of the places i looked was New Zealand Comedy shows  like  7 Days and Jono and Ben @ 10.  Theses comedians shows both take events current and old in New Zealand and and make fun of them. It was an easy way to find some stereotypes of people both regionally e.g. Aucklanders being called Jaffas   and Country wide e.g. communal need to be better than Australia in everything. With these notes that i have documented in my journal and some other local t.v shows like bro town and some online skits and short videos...
